We offer engaging and educational experiences for KS1 and KS2 students. Join us for an online workshop, or visit us at our historic building in central London.

We offer interactive workshops focused on classification and lifecycles, aligned with the curriculum. Our workshops provide students with the opportunity to explore these topics in a hands-on and immersive manner, fostering their understanding and love for science.

So, whether you join us in person or virtually, be ready for an enriching and unforgettable learning experience with us.

What workshops do we offer?

Upper KS2 (9–11-year-olds)

Curriculum topics covered: Classification (including Carl Linnaeus); identify that most living things live in habitats to which they are suited and describe how different habitats provide for the basic needs of different kinds of animals and plants, and how they depend on each other; evolution.

Workshop length: 90 minutes in-person. 60 minutes online.

Workshop size: In-person sessions are limited to 30 students. Classes will be split into two groups for the tour and workshop.

Workshop sessions available:

Morning – 10.30–12.00

Afternoon – 13.00–14.30

KS1 (5-7-year-olds)

Curriculum topics covered: Lifecycles; Maria Sybilla Merion; identify and name a variety of common animals including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.

Workshop length: 90 minutes in-person. 60 minutes online.

Workshop size: In-person sessions are limited to 30 students. Classes will be split into two groups for the tour and workshop.

Workshop sessions available:

Morning – 10.30–12.00

Afternoon – 13.00–14.30

A 90-minute in-person workshop at Burlington House is £180

A 60-minute digital workshop is £45

We want our workshops to be available to everyone, we have a number of funded places available for any schools that qualify. Please email us for more details.
