After You Have Applied

Once we receive your Certificate of Recommendation, we will send you a letter to acknowledge its receipt and you will be put on the Ballot List for the next election of new Fellows.

Elections take place three or four times yearly, usually in January, March, May and October. Exact dates are given in the events calendar.

Once the ballot has taken place, successful applicants will be notified of their election to Fellowship and asked to pay their first annual contribution. Please do not submit payment before this.

Following election, Fellows are invited to come to the Society and be Formally Admitted by the President. Admissions generally take place at evening meetings of the Society held in our rooms in Burlington House, it is nescessary to inform the Finance and Membership Officer of your intent to be admitted at least a week prior to the meeting.

When Fellows are admitted they sign the Roll and Charter Book.
