The Art of Storytelling: Podcasting
This workshop is a quick introduction to "What you need to know about making podcasts" from the perspective of the Linnean Society's Digital Content Producer, Ross Ziegelmeier.

This workshop is aimed at young people, 18-30, and is suitable for beginners and for those wanting to refresh their skills.
There will be a maximum of eight participants with one tutor so that individual attention can be given. All materials will be provided.

The Linnean Society’s podcasts aim to create discussion about the natural world through what might seem to be unrelated curious stories.
This workshop will be lead by the Society's Digital Content Producer, Ross Ziegelmeier, who will explain his workflow and give his top tips on producing content for podcasts.
This workshop will not involve using audio recording equipment or software but rather focus on soft-skills like story identification, story-boarding and script-writing.
This workshop is free and is open to all, though aimed at students.

- Doors will open at 12.45 and the workshop will begin at 13.00.
We are also offering a 30 minute tour of the Linnean Society's special collections at 12pm. The tour costs £5 and places are limited - please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a place.
