12:30 Wednesday 1st April 2015
The store room and the Linnean Society contains one of the most important collections of natural history specimens in the world. Alongside the plants and insects for which it is perhaps best known, the collection also features 168 fish specimens which include some of the most iconic fish species.
Today, join Ollie Crimmen from the Natural History Museum, London as we explore the fish collection here at the Society and find out some of the interesting and unexpected ways in which fish collections are used.
Linnean Lunchtime Lectures are free and open to all. Doors
open at 12:00 and tea and coffee will be served in the library following the event.
