Founded in 1930, the Harrison Institute is committed to supporting biodiversity conservation. It has an active programme of imaginative and award-winning projects with colleagues and students in the Old World tropics/subtropics (especially Myanmar/SE Asia), which focus on research, capacity building, outreach (including workshops and conferences), and working with local communities. The Conversazione will provide a great opportunity to learn more about these activities, see the specialist zoological collections of small mammals, birds, and some butterflies and enjoy the beautiful garden (weather permitting!).
12:30 — Arrive and wine reception in the Garden (weather permitting)
13:15 — Lunch
14:15 — Afternoon session: The group will be split into two for this session. Activities will include a tour of the Collections and a presentation about the Harrison Institute and their work.
17:00 — Depart

- Registration (£30) is essential
- Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Travel is not included in ticket price. The Harrison Institute is only 5 minutes walk from Sevenoaks station and 35 minutes by train from central London (Charing Cross, Waterloo East and/or London Bridge).
