Cardiff University Logo

Joint event of the Royal Society of Biology South Wales branch and the Linnean Society.

We invite you to join us at this lecture on sexual selection delivered by Professor Steve Jones, University College London. After the lecture there will be an opportunity to ask questions and meet the speaker.

Many creatures manipulate their fellows, their partners, their enemies and even their friends in an attempt to gain advantage for themselves. Steve Jones will talk about how modern biology has built on Wallace's ideas on butterfly mimicry and will talk about the crafty habits of creatures from orchids to ourselves, and about how, beneath every beauty, lies a beast.

This event is free and open to all. Registration is essential via Eventbrite. For more information please contact southwales@rsb.org.uk.
