Citrus lemon, the lemon tree

Citrus lemon, are High in vitamin C and were therefore given to British sailors from 1795 (with rum) to cure a disease called scurvy.

​Pagurus bernhardus, the herbit crab

Pagurus bernhardus, aka hermit crabs, are squatters. They lack a hard protecting carapace So they cunningly move into empty snail shells to protect their body.

Octopus vulgaris, the common octopus

Octopus vulgaris, the common octopus, is soft bodied and has 8 tentacles.
It can change colour and even texture for camouflage.
It has blue blood and 3 hearts.
