Joe specialises in creating informal learning resources and experiences to engage people with ideas. He has degrees in Biomedical Science and Science Communication and has worked across the globe on exciting educational projects like Lab_13 Ghana and the Abu Dhabi Science Festival.
He believes in a student-led approach; allowing students to lead in investigations and become the scientist, the expert, and the developer of their own ideas.
Joe's current mission at the Linnean Society is to create a world where curiosity in the natural world is shared by all ages and backgrounds - easy enough, right?
Joe leads on workshops related to Education and Public Engagement, including teacher CPD.
