Jessica - Art
A full listing of upcoming workshops can be found here: Discovery Workshops.

Much of Jessica’s artwork is inspired by conservation, nature, gardens and history.
For an exhibition in Rhode Island, USA, she displayed imperilled American Wildflower species in a 20-foot long collage. Her Tiffany Glass book (Skira Rizzoli, NY) contains 85 detailed plant and flower drawings.
She is making an Artist's Book for a new installation which features Tudor botanist Henry Lyte. And her best-selling Tangle Wood (Search Press), brims with the flora and fauna of the hedgerows around Bath.
She is a paper passionista! - widely known for her paper cuts and collages which tell stories about people’s lives. Jessica also makes 3D paper sculptures. For example, a Tudor Paper Galleon, for the First Cut exhibition, now on permanent display at the Tudor House Museum, Southampton. She made a huge Paper Maze for Bath’s Forest of Imagination in 2018 and a Paper Garden for London’s Garden Museum earlier this year.
Her paper-wrangling technique was used to create a Paper Palace in Hampton Court’s Cartoon Gallery making her the first artist to be allowed to make an art piece inside the Palace. She cut a sequence of ‘papel picados’ for Pixar Disney to help launch the movie Coco.
She is an illustrator for English Heritage where she attempts to bring humour and humanity to figures from past times. Other clients include Historic Royal Palaces, Tiffany and many museums including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Sir John Soane Museum, Museum of London, Holburne Museum in Bath, British Museum, Dulwich Picture Gallery, the Wallace Collection, the National Portrait Gallery, Bristol Drawing School in the Royal West of England Academy, and Shepherds Bookbinders in London where she is a visiting artist.
Her most recent exhibition was Paper Play in Summer 2019 at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Devon. She is the author of The Art of Papercutting (Search Press) 2015.
