Twisted Taxonomy / Photocomposites

Exploring the Linnean system of taxonomy, participants observed common properties across species and practiced classification through environments, using manmade objects as well as plant, fungi and animal specimens.

Working with a partner, students photographed objects with a 30x magnification digital scope, and used these in combination with photo libraries and photo editing software to create photo-composites to illustrate their own taxonomical category, described in the captions.
