Education Officer

The Linnean Society of London is the world’s oldest active society devoted to ‘the cultivation of the science of natural history in all its branches’. Today, we publish a variety of journals relevant to our sector, and deliver a range of education, public engagement and heritage programmes.
The Society is welcoming applications for the role of Education Officer. This role in our Engagement Team will support the Education Manager in planning, delivering and evaluating our activities for young people. Inspiring young people about nature and ensuring their voices are heard is vital to achieve the Society’s vision. The successful candidate will be motivated by the aims and purpose of the organisation.
Duration of contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Burlington House, Piccadilly, London (successful candidate must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required))
Reporting: This role reports into the Education Manager
Salary: £25,000
