The LAPADA London Fair 8-11 May 2008
The Linnean Society of London is pleased to be associated with the LAPADA London Fair, one of London's most prestigious art and antiques fairs.
Objects of Desire
Held at Six Burlington Gardens in the heart of Historic Mayfair, close to the Linnean Society's Rooms, the event brought together some 70 members of LAPADA The Association of Art and Antiques Dealers. All members of the UK's largest association of professional dealers are bound by a strict Code of Practice and all items offered for sale at the fair are vetted by experts for authenticity, attribution and quality.
The fair offered a wide variety of fine furniture, paintings, sculpture, silver, jewellery, porcelain, pottery, glass, clocks and watches, rugs and carpets and other wonderful works of art spanning 400 years from the 17th to 21st centuries.
