

The Meeting Room
The Linnean Society's Meeting Room is an ideal setting for conferences or lectures with seating for up to 100 people. Located on the ground floor the Meeting Room has recently been refurbished to its original period style and contains a raised-oak dais that provides an impressive platform for speakers. This historic location combines a traditional feel with modern features which include a digital projector, retractable screens, wifi and an audio loop for the hard of hearing.
Portraits hanging in the room include Charles Darwin by John Collier, a posthumous portrait of Alfred Russell Wallace and other notable members of the Society.
The Meeting Room is available for hire Monday to Fridays between 10am and 5pm at £399 per day. Half-day or evening hire is possible, please contact us for further details and rates.
