Meeting Room

Under the watchful gaze of our original portraits of Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace, our historic Meeting Room is the cornerstone of the Linnean Society. Beautifully decorated in the neo-classical style, this room is a mix of both charm and grandeur. The Meeting Room is a calm and contemplative space, only yards from Piccadilly.

The Linnean Society of London is situated in the heart of the West End on the north side of Piccadilly, about halfway between Green Park and Piccadilly Underground Stations. Our entrance is the door on the left underneath the archway leading to the Royal Academy of Arts at Burlington House, accessed by two small flights of steps. The Royal Academy is marked in most A-Z guides.
